I got GoPets sadness today and thought I'd go get my DS and play Vacation Island for a bit. It was fun to play with the pets - my cat has this warrior gear on. I'm just curious how many people uninstalled GoPets when it quit, and how many still have all their folders and files?

I did not uninstall it, and I'm glad 'cause there are so many memorable images and sounds tucked away in those folders!

GoPets Pangs?

Does anyone else still suffer GoPets pangs, an urge to log in and play awhile that's so tangible it's like the game still exists? I've started feeling these more often recently, and really missing the game. So sad that it all fell apart. Apparently, in this day and age, you have to be associated with the social sites in order to survive; even WoW is manuvering itself into association with Facebook. But what a sweet little game it was, and I still want to feel that sweetness and whimsy sometimes ...

Erik would sell GoPets as a normal pc game? I know we have all talked about this before. I'm just going through withdrawal here. I feel like the anniversary of the tumbling is starting. Wasn't it last August when that supposed Pet Olympics or whatever started? That's when we could see the game finally reduced to it's lowest. Our pets became slaves... Hey, I was missing Gopets dearly. I remember before Gopets closed, they were offering free Gopets plushes. I was stupid and didn't ask for any. I was just too depressed about it closing. From my new computer I have taken 5046, and my previous computer had 1890.

How many did you guys take??
