The game I've found that most closely resembles GoPets is Pet Society, available on MySpace and Facebook. I see a lot of you already play, but for those that don't, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's 2D, but it's highly interactive. You feed, bathe, placate and clothe your pet. You have a house to decorate. You can fish and garden. You get money for visiting friends. The pets interact with items....it is really great and the thing I find most closely resembles GoPets.

Anyone try this game? Its more horse related but is good because you don't have to worry about feeding. Also you travel around isles playing quest. I've been playing for a month or so and starting to enjoy it. But beware if you don't enjoy horses I wouldn't play it.

Lots of data there. Well, now I know why Pet Society feels like they have to copy Petville, it's a shame. Probably just people trying Petville out because of big games like Farmville giving Petville a lead in. I hate pets running away and that Pet Society copied it with the new petlings.
