They're restricted because they've been hacked, people are selling for much less than you'd pay for a 6 CC item. Of course you can still trade, Pet Society knows they can't stop it, but if you trade openly they will ban you. And trading in private makes you more vulnerable to scammers, some people don't do it for that reason. I've already had people offer me deals for items. I'm not afraid they'd scam me because I've traded with them before, but I won't do it because this is a vicious cycle--the more people cheat, the higher the PS prices go to make up for it. After I wrap up my egg contest and send out all the prizes next week, definitely taking a break from Pet Society. I'm spending way too much money on it.

It's just a time sink, in addition to the money. I'm going to log in daily to feed my petlings. But I'm not going to do all the visits, not going to trade on the forum, not going to try to figure out who I need to send free gifts or stickers to (I never have enough for everyone who sent to me, anyway!) Most of all, I'm going to try to avoid looking at the store items every week, LOL. I'll treat it more like I'm doing FooPets, just stop in and feed pets. I'm sure I'll be back at some point, but I'm just wondering what's going to happen with Pet Society, if they'll continue to go crazy with the CC and such.

I agree Asynjur, they need to calm it down quite a bit on the new items and cc items. I love seeing new stuff, but when there is so much every week it just seems like I never have the time to save up for old stuff I want.
