Does it let you post anything? If so you could try writing to the forum admins with this form and ask about your problem - http://forum.playfish.com/sendmessage.php

It's strange cuz I remember when I first made my account I was able to see the Trade Forums... so I did verify my account... but then one day when I went to browse around it said I didn't have permission... blah!

Sorry, I don't have any spares you need, right now, anyway, don't know if I'll do any more fishing. I ended up trading 2 for 1 for a couple of the harder to snag items, like the wig and the hairclip. The CC price is horribly high, but since I've always had a thing for mermaids I couldn't resist. Still it totally confirms my feeling I need to take a break from Pet Society, after my contest is wrapped up and all the gifts are sent. I'm spending way too much.

Trick with the fishing baits! Wish I'd know about this yesterday. Since the bait is CC you need to buy it online, but then go into Work Offline to fish and you can preview your item, don't save if it's something you don't like. I'd assumed the items were set at time of purchase--but someone messaged me with a tip to just "close the browser quick"--it's safer to work in offline mode, tried it and it worked just fine. I'm losing patience, though, since the good stuffs are rare drops and you have to keep doing it. I can only reel in so many times!

Yay! I was able to get the whole set of Treasure Bait items thanks to Asynjur's tip. I was also assuming that because you had to be online to buy the bait, that what you would get was determined then, but it's not. Also helped me almost complete my Glow in the Dark fishies.

Anyway, I have extras of these Treasure Bait items. If anyone wants them just let me know and I'll send them on over.

I don't think you play Restaurant City but the new theme is Japanese and they have a cherry blossom tree.It;'s not out yet,will be at midnight their time.I think they will have it for cash but it reminded me of the GP one.Sigh i soo miss that tree *_*

Are the cash coins restricted to a game or can you use it in any PF game no matter on which one you bought it?

I think the cash coins can be spent across the different games, at least I think that's what they say when you buy them. Don't know for sure cause I only play PS.

Does anyone know the scoop on these *3333s? What are they and are they all being produced by hackers? Some are being sold really cheap and I want to get the story before investing in them.

Yes, CC is all Playfish games. In fact you can earn a few CC at the moment from playing their new hotel game, and spend it on Pet Society.

As for the currency, much of it on the market is bound to be from hacked coins just like the 4999s were. The big problem is that Playfish just doesn't want us trading. There's only one 3333 item in the store, the gold watch, and they can just decide to yank it at any time, or maybe they will leave it there, who knows? By the way, if you have any 4999s left that you want to sell back to the game for full price, you must do it now, they're due to go back to the sale buy-back price at any moment and stay that way (if Playfish does what they said they'd do).

There's a restriction on trading the new treasure items on the Pet Society forum, by the way, they can only be traded for other treasure items. Otherwise you risk getting banned from the forum.

Thanks for the info. Asynjur. Seems PS should just wise up and realize that people will find a way to trade no matter what they do.

Dae - do you still need the Sleepy Cat Hat? I finally got a second one last night so I will send it over if you're still looking.
