For me, there is one good thing that came out of Gopets being canceled.

I have been officially writing my first novel. For those who knew me on GoPets, you know I was trying to write a book for a very long time. Well, I'm almost 30,000 words in; on my way to my 200th page. I literally wouldn't believe this would happen, if you told me last year. So, I guess some positive does come from the negative in life. Even though I'm closing in on my 200th page, I still have a long way to go. It's going to be a very long book; around 500 pages. I'm extremely excited, because it's the first novel of a series I'm going to write. Whether it's successful, that really doesn't matter, for now. I'm sticking to writing; that's what matters.

Do you have any positives that came from GoPets shutting down?

Wow, that's great PopPunk! I've always wanted to write as well, but I haven't gotten very far. Maybe you will inspire me to get busy.

Thanks! You should try writing whenever you get spare time. Even if you just write a page or two a day, that's something! It all builds up into something big.

That's pretty amazing! I've tried writing when I was younger. It was mostly short stories, fanfiction, and poems. Then I realized how embarrassing my writing was and stopped. lol. Well, part of it was laziness too.

I actually stopped playing GoPets for at least a year before it shut down so nothing really changed for me. I do still miss it though because when I stopped playing, it was with the certainty that I could always go back to it whenever I wanted.
