Anyone have a blog?
Hey, any bloggers here? I recently decided to start a blog, but I don't know if I'll really get into it or not. Please let me know if you have a blog on Posterous.com, I'm looking for friends there. My blog -

Re: Anyone have a blog?
Your message inspired me to write a blog post. Let's consider this to be my reply to this thread: http://www.jsnyman.com/Opinion/what-is-it-with-blogging.html
I used to use Posterous. It really is a great service. I have bookmarked your blog and will do my best to read it regularly.
Good luck!

Re: Anyone have a blog?
Well it's hard since I'm not following anyone on Posterous, and no one replies to my posts. I don't know how to meet people on Posterous, so I don't know if I'll ever have much going there. When I go to find friends, it only gives two options. Am I missing something? The only thing I've tried is to import contacts from Twitter, but it just spins and spins and nothing ever imports. I haven't tried to import from Facebook so I don't know if that works. I hate to let Facebook know my other places on the web, because they are so grabby with your information. I wish I could get off Facebook entirely, and yet it's still the place where I interact with the most people.

I haven't used Posterous in a while. There was never really much of a community—I can't even recall a way to find friends on the service. It is a good blogging platform but isn't really much more than that. If you want to follow people and have interactions with them on the service, you may want to try Tumblr. But Tumblr scares me a bit—seems a bit chaotic. Sorry, I don't think I'm being very helpful. XD Perhaps your best bet is posting your blog posts to Twitter and hoping some of your followers are also Posterous users and will subscribe to you. Even if they aren't, they can still read your posts and comment. You might feel this to be kind of spammy, though.

Re: Anyone have a blog?
Posterous was recently bought by Twitter, so I'll still it out and see if they make any changes. If I update my old websites with a link to the blog, I might be able to get a little traffic that way. (Too bad I got too lazy to do anything with my websites, they have almost nothing there now, and what is there is out of date.) I read your blog entry, so true!
