Re: Pet Society
I wrote all this to post at PS forum so I figured why not post here, too, LOL.
I like rooms that aren't too crowded, and are color coordinated. I started out with mostly realistic rooms, but now many are outdoor scenes, some fantasy.
This is a recreation of one of my first rooms, most of the items were gifts from friends.

Julia Child in her kitchen (although I doubt the real one would use a microwave!)

I can't find a pic of the bathroom, and of course upload photo isn't working right now--moving on!
Sprite's bedroom (bear is hogging all the gifts!) Sprite wanted her mail to come to the bedroom, but I hate having that brown door in there--all the other doors broke the mood just as badly, too, even the terrace door. I'd love to have a simple, elegant door in black.

This is Sprite's sewing/laundry/dressing room.

The petling playroom.

Now this is a more realistic room I really liked, it wasn't too different from a billiards lounge I used to go to (although this game has no pool queue racks to put on the wall). But none of my friends commented on it, I guess I was the only one who liked it, LOL, I didn't end up having it up very long.

This is a foray into fantasy that got a lot of compliments. I eventually had more plushies and a party in there.

This is an example of one of my outdoor scenes.

I have a couple tank rooms now, and they're way more crowded than this. I had this in the front room for several weeks, didn't realize until I'd taken it down that I never had the submarine in there (I wish we could organize our chest, so I could put all the items I want to use together in one place).

The front room decked out for Cinco de Mayo.

For Easter I crammed the whole house full of eggs and had an egg counting contest for my friends. That was a lot of work, but it was a blast.

This is the current front room, kind of a mythology theme.

(I'm going to have to recreate my old Japanese theme room and take a snap of it, I can't believe I don't have any pics.. It was my front room for a long time.)

Cool - nice rooms Asynjur! I guess I should take some pics of my front room each time before I change it. The rest of my rooms pretty much stay the same.

Thanks! I *try* to remember now to take a snap of every room now, at least once before I take it down. Never know when I'll want to use decorating ideas again later.

Thank you! Yeah, she's a feisty little pooch. I'm as attached to her as I am to my GoPets--I know they hang out together, giggling and gossiping.

Re: Pet Society
Here is the link for the Halloween Flowers, it's supposed to be sent by e-mail to cc buyers for September, but I didn't get one. When I clicked on the link and went into PS it gave me the "thanks for sharing your e-mail" message, so it might work for people who didn't buy cc too.

Some people have had a glitch once they get the flowers - they disappeared when they tried to put them out I think? So, just leave them in your inventory until PS fixes it.

Re: Pet Society
Thank goodness - I don't even keep any of the items but the weekly special anymore. I dig, then sell everything I just got.

Re: Pet Society
I sell some, keep some, and use some as gifts for newbies. But since they're become more rare now I want to have a few of everything, so I'll have to check. The only one that I felt was just weird was the fish in a jar, not open to the air the fish would get no oxygen! I hate to get my hopes up, but it sounds like they may have some fun stuffs. XD

Re: Pet Society
Last year Sprite had an egg count/guess contest for Easter. We want to get set up to do it again, but we need more eggs to fill new rooms. So please feel free to send donations of eggs, homegrown or otherwise, if you like. Thank you!
